This replacement motor may require you to splice the electrical connector from you original motor; This will not affect the warranty in any way.

Warranty Information

Top motors have a 5 year warranty. Electric motors are not guaranteed against: burn out, excessive wear, pump contains filthy fluid, or physical damage. We recommend Automatic Transmission Fluid for vehicles newer than 1953.

    Replacement pump

    My only quibble is that the plug is different from the one on my Sebring, and the wires on the pump are reversed from those on the car. I spliced red to red and black to yellow, but when I operated the switch, the up position made the top retract and vice versa. I ended up unpinning the contacts from the connector and switching the positions. Other than that, it works great. On the plus side, the plug is much easier to remove and install than on the factory pump.
